Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is here and most of us spent this week, scrambling for gifts. A hopeless romantic will state, that this is the day where everyone should be doing something special.
This is also the day where the stores make you spend your money.
Its not just about a dinner and a date anymore. The prices for flowers go higher, restaurant prices skyrocket and the local jeweler will reel you in. If there is a concert in town, then you better go purchase those tickets.

Most people don't believe in Valentine's Day, while others yearn for it. For some, Valentine's Day is 365 days of the year and its just another day.
Valentine's Day is not only for couples. People can also show Valentines Day love by helping your elderly neighbor with their groceries. One can even find a charity or local organization to volunteer with.

I can't forget my fellow soldiers who are deployed. Happy Valentines Day! Whooraaaa!

So before we run ourselves ragged, looking for the perfect gift. Let us think about how we can make Valentine's Day really mean something.
I have compiled a list of movies and books for your viewing and reading pleasure. This list is a mixture of prohibited love, damsel in distress, love thyself and hopeless romantic.

Enjoy Your Valentines!
